Jet-Ski-aground-on-Cockle-Bank-River-Clyde

Byline: At 1807 hours on Friday 24th May, 2013 Belfast Coastguard requested Helensburgh RNLI Lifeboat be launched after receiving a report from the Police that there was a jet ski aground on the Cockle Bank at Port Glasgow.
Page Content: After launching, the lifeboat crew proceeded to the area where they located the jet ski outside the navigation channel aground on the Cockle Bank. As the tide was flooding, the lifeboat managed to tow the jet ski back into the channel without any difficulty and, after confirming that the driver and jet ski were ok, returned to base. The lifeboat was reported ready for service again at 1931 hours.
