Byline: Invergordon RNLI Volunteer crew were requested to launch on Sunday afternoon by Aberdeen Coastguard to aid the search of a missing diver in the Moray Firth.

The all-weather Trent class lifeboat RNLB Douglas Aikman Smith launched shortly after 1.15pm on Sunday 28 July, to a diving vessel 4miles east of Tarbertness Lighthouse where it was a reported a diver was in difficulty.

Due to an ongoing Police Investigation, we cannot comment further at this stage.
