was launched at 1.24am, at the request of Milford Haven Coastguard.

The tanker, which was anchored about 10 miles south of
Linney Head, was instructed to make her way towards the entrance to the Milford
Haven Waterway and rendezvoused with the lifeboat at 2am. 
The lifeboat evacuated the injured crewman, medical
assessments were made, and she made best speed to the Milford Haven Port
Authority jetty, arriving at 2.45am. There, the casualty was handed over to
ambulance personnel, before being transferred to hospital.
The lifeboat was released to return to her station, where
she was rehoused at 3.11am.
