On Wednesday 28th. August at 6.02pm the launch followed a report of a sunken dinghy and three people in the water in the River Stour between Stonar Cut and Richborough Quay. The three people that were in the dinghy were reported to be in the water hanging on to the river bank but as the lifeboat crew started to search the area they were stood down by Dover Coastguard after members of the public had safely helped the people ashore and assisted in the recovery of their boat.

At 7.23pm on Friday 30th. August the RNLI lifeboat launched to a report of a person in the water off a jet ski some 300m out to sea in Pegwell Bay. On arrival at the scene it appeared that the reported person was, in fact, a marker buoy but, in consultation with the Coastguard, the lifeboat crew continued a search in the area and, on finding no casualty, returned to station.

The third incident was at 12.19pm on Sunday, 1st. September when the inshore lifeboat launched to a 6m motor boat with two people on board which had broken down 1.5 miles east of Prices Golf Club in Pegwell Bay. The RNLI volunteer crew towed the boat and its crew safely into Ramsgate Harbour.
