Helensburgh-RNLI-Lifeboat-attends-Kite-Surfers-at-Ardmore

Byline: At 1852 hours on Wednesday 9th October 2013 Belfast Coastguard requested the launch of Helensburgh RNLI Lifeboat after a member of the public contacted them and expressed concern about the well-being of three Kite Surfers in the Ardmore area.
Page Content: The lifeboat launched at 1901 hours.  Once on scene the lifeboat crew was advised by the coastguard that two of the kite surfers were now ashore and at 1921 hours, it was confirmed that the third surfer was also safely ashore.  With all surfers accounted for, the Lifeboat returned to station and reported ready for service again at 1946 hours. This was a false alarm with good intent.
