Cyclists-to-ride-over-400-miles-to-raise-money-for-the-RNLI

Byline: Four cyclists from the Bristol area are taking on a huge task of cycling from St Davids to Lowestoft, in aid of St Davids and Lowestoft RNLI stations, a total of over 400 miles.

The cyclists are taking on the challenge to raise funds in memory of Linda Monaghan, a great supporter of the RNLI, who died last year.

The team aim to cycle from St David’s Lifeboat Station to Lowestoft Lifeboat Station (over 400 miles, the widest coast-to-coast crossing from the most westerly point of mainland Wales to the most easterly point of Britain).

The event will take place from this week (24 to 31 May) in five stages, with the cyclists averaging around 80 miles per day, with the longest day (Cambridge to Lowestoft) almost 100 miles.
