Criccieth-RNLI-lifeboat-responds-to-broken-down-jet-ski

Byline: At 1.30pm on Monday the 1st of September, 2014 volunteer crew members from Criccieth’s RNLI lifeboat station responded to an incident which saw three people bought ashore with their stricken jet-ski.
Page Content:

The jet-ski had broken down some 200 metres off Black Rock Sands after its impeller was incapacitated by a line being used to tow an inflatable ring.  One of four initial occupants swam ashore to raise the alarm.  The occupants had no means of communication.  Due to strong tidal conditions the jest-ski had drifted further offshore by the time the lifeboat was on scene. The lifeboat station’s Atlantic 85 class lifeboat, Doris Joan, was used during the rescue.
