David Fowles is a volunteer crew member at Aberdyfi RNLI Lifeboat Station. David and his friend Jamie are cycling around the coast of Wales visiting every lifeboat station to raise money for the RNLI.  Rhyl station was the penultimate station in their journey which will end at Flint lifeboat station tonight (1st May 2015). They were met at Rhyl and made welcome by members of the charity’s volunteer crew.
The journey was some 575 miles and they were cycling the route over seven days, meeting fellow crew members in each station along the way. People were invited to join them to ride a small section of the route for fun, whether it was one mile or 20 miles.

The pair will end their challenge at Flint RNLI Lifeboat Station on 1 May – the charity’s national fundraising day.

The attached photos shows the pair in front of Rhyl’s all-weather lifeboat “Lil Cunningham”.
