Byline: On Sunday 17th May Alnmouth Golf Club (Foxton Hall) held an open golf day to raise funds in support of RNLI Amble Shannon Lifeboat Appeal.

The Alnmouth Golf Club (Foxton Hall) is located near to the seaside town of Alnmouth in Northumberland. The club is the fourth oldest in England, established in 1869. The course itself overlooks Foxton and Alnmouth bay, an area of outstanding beauty on the Northumberland coastline. 

A great days golf was had by many and much needed funds were raised for RNLI Amble Shannon Lifeboat Appeal along the way. John Young,  Chairman of the Amble lifeboat management team, was there to receive a cheque for £600 from Alnmouth Golf Club Captain Ronnie Matthews. A plaque was presented to the Club for their continued support for the RNLI over many years.

Everyone involved with RNLI Amble would like to express their gratitude to those that generously supported the Shannon Lifeboat Appeal on the Golf tournament.
