The volunteer crew of the Sheerness inshore lifeboat Eleanor were called at 9.50pm on Friday 6 November to reports of a small craft with three people on board, believed to have been stolen from Sheerness seafront and heading out to sea.

The ILB crew carried out a thorough search of the area up to one mile offshore but nothing untoward was found and the lifeboat returned to station at 11.09pm.
